General Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of the terms
By downloading, installing, or using the “Migrant-e-s Help” application, or its related web application, you agree to these General Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Application.
The Application is published and managed by the Association Pionniers du Changement pour le Développement et la Culture (PCDC), a Moroccan non-profit organization, hereinafter referred to as “the Publisher”.
2. Description of the service
Migrant-e-s Help is a free guidance and information application designed for migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers in Morocco. The Application provides, in particular:
- A directory of essential services organized by city and category.
- A smart virtual assistant to answer questions at any time.
- An interactive map to locate nearby services.
- Practical guides and relevant updates for your integration journey.
- A notification system about new services and events.
3. Access to the service
The Application is available free of charge and without registration. No user account is required. It is available on Android through the Google Play Store, on iOS through the App Store, and on the web via app.migranthelp.ma.
The Publisher reserves the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue all or part of the service, temporarily or permanently, for maintenance, updates, or any other legitimate reason, without prior notice or compensation.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Application responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws. In particular, you must not:
- Use the Application for unlawful, fraudulent, or public-order-violating purposes.
- Attempt to compromise the security, integrity, or availability of the Application or its servers.
- Copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written authorization.
- Use bots, scripts, or automated means to access the Application or extract data from it.
- Impersonate another person, entity, or organization.
- Transmit defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or rights-infringing content.
5. Intellectual property
All Application content, including texts, logos, icons, images, software, databases, and interfaces, is protected by intellectual property laws and remains the exclusive property of the Publisher or its partners.
Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, modification, or exploitation of all or part of this content is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action under applicable law.
6. Third-party information and content
The Application references third-party organizations and services. The Publisher seeks to verify the reliability and accuracy of that information with field partners, but cannot guarantee its absolute accuracy, completeness, or permanent updating.
Links to third-party websites or services are provided for information purposes only. The Publisher does not control those websites and disclaims any responsibility for their content, practices, or privacy policies.
7. Limitation of liability
The Application is provided “as is” and “as available”. The Publisher does not guarantee that it will be free from errors, bugs, or interruptions.
Under no circumstances shall the Publisher be liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Application, including but not limited to:
- Inaccurate or outdated information about listed services.
- Service interruptions, technical failures, or data loss.
- Actions or omissions by third-party organizations referenced in the Application.
- Damage related to installing or using the Application on your device.
Important: The Application is not a substitute for legal, medical, or professional advice. In an emergency, please contact local emergency services.
8. Personal data protection
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. We encourage you to read it carefully.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by visiting our Data Deletion page.
9. End User License Agreement (EULA)
These Terms constitute the End User License Agreement governing use of the Migrant-e-s Help Application.
License granted
The Publisher grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and limited license to download, install, and use the Application on any compatible device that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the usage rules of the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
Restrictions
- You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, distribute, or commercially exploit the Application.
- You may not modify, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer the Application.
- You may not create derivative works based on the Application.
Apple-specific provisions
If you downloaded the Application from the Apple App Store, the following additional conditions apply:
- These Terms are an agreement between you and the Association PCDC only, and not with Apple Inc.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the Application.
- In the event of non-conformity with any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price where applicable. As the Application is free, no refund applies here.
- Apple is not responsible for handling claims relating to the Application, including product liability claims, legal or regulatory compliance claims, or consumer protection claims.
- If a third party claims that the Application infringes its intellectual property rights, the Association PCDC, and not Apple, will be solely responsible for investigating, defending, and resolving that claim.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them.
10. Changes to the terms
The Publisher reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published in the Application or on the website. Continued use of the Application after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
In the event of a substantial change, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you through a notification in the Application.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Application at any time by uninstalling it from your device. The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access in the event of a breach of these Terms.
12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Moroccan law. In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution before initiating legal action. Failing an amicable settlement, the competent courts of Oujda, Morocco, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
